Is it just me or when you are uploading files using FTP, it quite reguarly just stops ulpoading and you have to cancel it and try again? It is incredibly annoying!

Happens with me also.
But after a minute it automatically starts again Smiley

Does your webhost support web file transfer ?
If it does, you just have to transfer your tarball archive up (1 file) and then uncompressed it, of course assuming yours is unix.

Some FTP Client supports resume.

Try WS_FTP I use it and it's very useful. I have the same problem too sometimes but usually only when uploading with Dreamweaver.

i have been using Leap FTP for 6 or 7 years. its the best out there.

FireFox/Mozilla is the browser.
Filezille is the ftp program.

Right, I knew that. I had tried some browser based ftp program once though. You would open it in your browser and enter your ftp username and pw, server address, ect., then you could upload your files with it. It was ok but max file size was only 5mb and I need something that could upload larger files.

I think is the worst ftp client ever seen Smiley Is block the all IE instances when is doing a connection Smiley
