It traps SE spiders. Frames are not very Search Engine friendly.

sacx, you sadly aren't the first, some linux users are having trouble viewing the site, we are still trying to figure out why, sorry about that!

I would tend to aim that way, but I just noted the majority of people having trouble with the site were Linux users, so that's where our search is aimed..

Linux user base is still fairly small.
I would focus on getting your site working on varying screen resolutions.

it has been decided higher than me that the site would work only a specific resolution... but i'm constantly pushing to have it work for everyone...

I know, I don't really understand it. Of course having the site up for the majority of people is a must, but I always think getting to work for everyone once the majority is set up is the best way to go.

yeah well they started noticing, I now know there was an issue code wise with scrollbars and that's why they were removed. But i'm actively putting pressure to put them back on, it's well worth it.
