Has anyone here tried it? if so what are your thoughts? I've used it, I found it easy to install hard to tweak. Without the tweaks it's very vulnerable so unless you feel up for it (it's a challenge) I recommend going elsewhere. It IS however a great system.

I never built an actual site with it but I did download it to see what it is about. I agree that it is very hard to use.  One of these days I am going to force myself to become familiar with it.

I used mambo which was the precursor (aka Joomla used to be mambo)
I found it very good.
