How do you guys make your ads (google adsense or banners) blend into your site ? Images next to the ad ? And how do you make them look neat ?

I use ad blending but without to much success. Anyway I will try to change the colors of the banners everytime when the page is loaded. A lot of webmasters are "skiping" this ads because are blended (I think). Anyway I see google adding images to their ads. Is anyone see that ?
Regards

I installed a hack that places ads randomnly between posts, ant they look exactly like posts. Don't know how effective it is for getting clicks though.

Just simply use the same colours that your site uses for text, links, and background. Also make sure they are contextual ads (relevent to the content of your site).

Ok, that's what most webmasters do, but it wont getting in the clicks. You need to completely blend it, like pcitures above the ads or something. Or even between the posts.

Good for getting clicks. Bad for keeping visitors.

Ya, initially. But once your forum gets big, then I dont think that would be a problem And in fact, once you get more visitors, advertisers will look for you.

I prefer selling advertising space directly to the end user. affiliates are better for making real money.

Depends on your site content. For a webmaster site I would recommend WebCEO http://webceo.com/partners/signup.htmI made the most affiliate money from a surfing site though, selling banners to surf shops.
