I use Windows Live Messenger. Its still in Beta but its much much better than the old MSN messenger. Much faster log ins and much better features. I tried google talk but i didnt like it much. I guess its too business like.

MSN. Nice clean design and I like how it's integrated with desktop. I don't want to be supporting MS so much, but MSN Messenger works for me.

I have used almost all the major IM like ICQ, MSN, Yahoo, GTalk and Trillian but I like Yahoo very much though I am no more using it. I have shifted everything to Google. GTalk is simple and looks very promissing

Googletalk is starting to have more users now. But it's a late comer in the IM market. Although google has a great reputation, I dont think they will win this one.

... remember when Google Lunched GMail. There were 100s of free webmail system available already but what google has done. I am sure that GTalk will come with something special.. and other IM will be in trouble. Google has already integrated Gtalk with GMail which is simply superb in my views

Google is good at being a role-model for other companies. And other companies can't match up with their ideas.
For Example: Google Earth was bought from Keyhole which used to be a payed service. Google always sees to the users favour.
