Yes, its' true. In big popular forums, some innovative members are renting out their forum signatures to the highest bidder!

I got offered a fair bit for my Digital point signatures and avitar links.
think it was about $30 usd a month for a single signature link.

Wow, looks like good money.
Didn't know it was such a good deal to be selling signatures. But now with Google devaluing pagerank, will these links be less important and hence cheaper?

Not so much cause DP has a lot of organic traffic.

DP is mainly for the webmaster crowd. unless your site is catered to that, not much organic traffic. But of course, those jokes and entertainment sites, everyone likes!
