SVG graphics are probably the next big thing on the horizon, unfortunately you need a plugin for IE to view them but browsers like Opera and Mozilla support them straight out of the box.
Essentially using XML to create graphical elements which can be rotated, skewed and have funky things done to them.
SVG images can be resised with no pixelation and are faster to load than standard images.
They are also potentialy search engine friendly and could be the next big thing in SEO.


So, has anyone here any plans to use SVGs in the future?

Vectorial Graphic ? Smiley It's something like flash ... but static ... and not binary Smiley

Actually they can be made dynamic as well.
XML graphics format that is styled using CSS.
you can actually have the graphics rendered from a backend database using AJAX on the fly if you really want to.
also since its vector graphics you can zoom in without pixelation.
