How often do you have to do that? And at what age do you finally get off the hook?

They call us back for like 7 times for In Camp Training and 3 more times for just basic refresher training till we reach 40 years old.

I think should be the same as other countries. Not too sure.
M16s and shit. Vehicles are usually from Sweden. Uniforms are usually American inspired.

I saw a fair few police with MP5s when I was there as well.
From what I know its fairly heavily armed for the size of it, are people there worried about Malaysia?

I think so. Anyway, I guess both armies plan against each other but, I really hope there will not be any confrontation.  It's sort of like an arms race, Singapore buys some aeroplanes, Malaysia buys some heavy tanks, Indonesia buys some submarines.......it never ends.

I think for Singapore, it's pretty huge percent. Military gets a big cut of the pie. Anyway, Singapore is a small country and we try to defend ourselves by buying the latest technology and getting the best training. However, I am not sure that's the correct policy as it may force the other countries to do the same.

For me, anything that prevents war is good enough.
